FAV Photo Gallery (Best Of) - Homeless

This is the latest incarnation of Mentalation Solutions Group’s (MSG’s) Homeless Gallery.  MSG’s principal or main person Keith “Buster” Torkelson MS collected them up in person over the past ten (10) years.  The first series of photos are Buster originals.  Near the end of the Gallery we share some pirated images.  For this publication MSG has not information or community partners.  Most of the photos are before we intervene in anyway.  Buster just wishes there was one go to Orange County Housing Help Number that he can call and then engagement could begin starting the one in need on the path to a GoodBed (MSG).  Over time not all of Buster’s encounters with the homeless could be photo-documented.  Some of these homeless can get pretty scary.  If we really want a photo because it is unique in some way and the homeless person knows we are there Buster has been known to pay them for the photo.  Back in 2010 we heard of a movement: Ten Years to End Homeless – Circa 2010.  We ask ourselves: Is there really a better bed?  (Avey, 2020)

“Orange County United to Fight Homelessness”

In the monthly, January 2020 Issue (PDF) Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA)  What’s Up Newsletter an undocumented author wrote an article.  The Article was titled: Orange County United to Fight Homelessness.  The article was about five (5) paragraphs line.  Nera the middle the authored quoted HCA Director Richard Sanchez as: “He praised the Public Health Services (PHS) Comprehensive Health Assessment Team-Homeless (CHAT-H), and the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Outreach and Engagement Team (O&E), aka the “Blue Shirts,” as the, “tip of the spear, for being out in the field every day.”  We here at Mentalation Solutions Group (MSG) have no idea the origin of the OCHCA “Blue Shirts”.  So we can only address them in relation to our 2020 photographs chronicling the homeless.  Today is Friday October 30, 2020.  When read this article earlier this year we decided to capture any “Blue Shirt” we could find.  So when you look at the photos look for evidence of Outreach work.  In an earlier paper we suggested that the Outreach workers give there target blue wristband indicating contact had been made.  FYI - January 2020 Issue (PDF) >

Video at the End

We decided to only publish our original photos.  At the we include a link to our 2017 video capturing the Santa Ana River People (SARP).  Side note: Back in 2017 we published the video on You Tube.  This year when we went back out of fifty (50) or so video this one disappeared.
